The US has a Voluntary ANSI Standard & toothless OSHA. NO interest whatsoever in acquiring OR maintaining any TRUE “across the board” Certified AWP knowledge anywhere! There aren’t even any dealers left! We had (past tense) 7,500 independent dealers in the US a decade ago - you now have 400! NO “across the board” Certified AWP Training Facilities anywhere!Ī totally collapsed AWP mfg community - (75 pre-2000) to (4 after 2000) NO “across the board” Certified AWP Training anywhere! NO “across the board” Certified AWP Technicians anywhere! I understand we are dealing with Globalization issues, ISO Standards & the like but now ADD the total collapse of the AWP industry in North America in 2000 PLUS ADD the lack of any creditable industry knowledge of factory products prior to 2000. What these new A92 Standards are going to do is open a flood gate to other issues. there are still NO “across the board” Certified people anywhere in NA!
